Serengeti Awakes
I had lived in Africa for over 10 years but this was my first day in the Serengeti and a dream come true.
The painting entered an annual show and competition, sponsered by Shell UK. It did not win anything but it was highly commended. Another painting I had entered was not mentioned but sold on the first day. “Serengeti Awakes” was not sold and, apart from on my website portfolio, I have never shown it again; maybe I want to keep it for myself.
